Taylor to lead England Lions

Nottinghamshire’s James Taylor will captain the England Lions when they take on West Indies on May 10th at the county ground Northampton.

Somerset batsman Nick Compton has been rewarded for his fine early season form with a place in the squad. Compton has recorded two double centuries in April for the county from the West Country.

The experienced Michael Carberry and Samit Patel will hope to push their case for Test selection in Northampton.

Exciting young Surrey seamers Jade Dernbach and Stuart Meaker will also feature against the men from the Caribbean.
