Surrey have announced that teenagers Zafar Ansari and Matthew Dunn have both signed new deals keeping them at the London based club.

Ansari has extended his deal by three years and will remain at Surrey until the end of the 2014 season. The first two years he will operate under a summer contract as he finishes his studies at Cambridge University. He then has a guaranteed full year on the staff in 2014.

Ansari represented Surrey in all formats of the game last year. He impressed Ian Salisbury and Chris Adams when he played against Surrey for his University side Cambridge. In this match the slow left arm spinner picked up the prize wicket of Kevin Pietersen on his way to a five wicket haul. Ansari also made handy contributions with the bat last season.

Fast bowler Matthew Dunn has signed up for two more years as a fully contracted player. Dunn impressed Surrey fans last year with his raw pace. He took 5 wickets on debut last season in a county championship match against Derbyshire and also made good contributions in second xi cricket, throughout the year.

Surrey will be hoping that their young squad of players can repeat the success of 2011 where they lifted the CB40 trophy at Lords and got promoted to division 1 of the county championship.
