Brett Lee and Mitchell Johnson have been included in Australia’s squad for next month’s one-day tour of Ireland and England.

Mitchell Johnson was originally a doubt for the matches due to surgery on his foot last year. Despite not featuring for Australia in Test cricket, Australia have stuck with veteran bowler Brett Lee who remains one of the fastest bowlers in the world.

Patrick Cummins also returns to the squad after recovering from a heel injury. Australia have chosen Matthew Wade as the only wicket keeper after a successful trip to the Caribbean.

Former captain Ricky Ponting is not in the squad after retiring from one-day cricket when he was dropped in this form of the game in the CB series in January.

Australia start their tour against Leicestershire on 21st June. They then take on Ireland in a one off match before coming back to England for a best of five ODI series.
