After leaving the post of Bangladesh head coach, it has been confirmed that Stuart Law has been appointed high performance coach of Australia’s Centre of Excellence. Law will take up the job working with Troy Cooley, who heads the coaching at the centre of excellence.

The former Australian batsman’s role will allow him to work closely with the best Australian young cricketers in the hope of progressing these players into the national side.

Law has had the invaluable experience of coaching in the sub-continent, as well as playing cricket in all conditions worldwide. Law has surprisingly only played one Test match for Australia, despite having a first class batting average of over 50.

Law made 54 ODI’s appearances for his country and had a first class career spanning over 20 years including 367 appearances.
