England set to recall Pietersen
October 1, 2012
It is thought that Kevin Pietersen’s return to the England squad could be confirmed within the next day as the batsman is likely to make a fresh apology to the ECB.
Pietersen has not played for England since last summer’s Headingley Test match when the batsman made a stunning century against South Africa. However, before the next Test match at Lord’s, Pietersen was dropped for sending provocative text messages to the South African players about Andy Flower and in particular Andrew Strauss.
If it is deemed by Flower that Pietersen’s apology is made in the right manor the destructive batsman could yet find himself added to England’s touring party for their Test match tour of India.
England will know that without Pietersen in their ranks India will be a much tougher assignment, as the tourists will be tested against some quality spin bowling.
The first Test match gets underway on 15th November in Ahmedabad in what is a four Test match series.

Let’s hope KP’s return does not come at Flower’s expense.

Maybe KP can give Finny lifts around India in his helicopter to prevent him getting an aching back on bus rides.
