England will travel India, UAE, and Sri Lanka this winter.

The tour schedule begins on the 4th October in India with five one-day internationals and a twenty20 match. Andrew Strauss will then meet up with the touring party in Dubai and Abu Dhabi where they will take on Pakistan in three Test matches.

Pakistan play their home matches in the UAE these days due to security fears with staging International cricket in the country after the Sri Lankan tour bus was attacked in 2009.

England will also play Pakistan in four ODI’S and three Twenty20’s whilst in the UAE.

England will return home for Christmas but will be back in the sub-continent in March when they travel to Sri Lanka. Here they will play two Test matches before returning home on the 7th April ready for the English summer.

Sri Lanka is always a tough tour for England in conditions that will favour the home side as well as extreme temperatures.
