England one-day captain Alastair Cook has been named in three categories in the International Cricket Council awards.
Cook is in the running for 2012 cricketer of the year, Test cricketer of the year, and the one-day international cricketer of the year awards.
Cook is not the only England player to be nominated for awards. Stuart Broad has been named for cricketer of the year and Test match cricketer of the year.
England’s wicket-keeper Matt Prior is in the running for Test cricketer of the year, while fast bowler Steven Finn has been nominated in the ODI category.
The awards evening will take place on 15th September in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
