Nottinghamshire have announced that Stuart Broad and Graeme Swann will be making their County Championship return against Lancashire at Old Trafford this week.

There is also a chance that the pair will feature against Middlesex next week in the preparation for England’s first Test match of the summer against West Indies at Lord’s on May 17th.

This week’s match in Manchester will be Broad’s first match since he sustained a calf strain during England’s first Test match against Sri Lanka in Colombo in March.

Nottinghamshire will come up against James Anderson who is also making his first appearance of the English summer in the match. Elsewhere opener Alastair Cook will feature for Essex this week in their division 2 match against Glamorgan.

This is good to see, they can both get some overs before the series! Both of them are my main bowlers for England as I feel they are most consistent.
