India kept their hopes of reaching the CB series finals alive with a breath-taking batting display in Tasmania, as they chased down 321 for victory in just 36.4 overs, ensuring the vital bonus point was achieved.

Sri Lanka looked in the box seat when they posted 320 for 4 batting first. There were centuries for both Tillakaratne Dilshan (160*) and Kumar Sangakkara (105) in what looked a match winning partnership.

India had to win the match inside 40 overs in order to gain the bonus point they needed, and this meant that someone was going to have to play a special innings for this to be achieved.

Virat Kolhi played out of his skin in slamming 133 from just 86 balls handing India victory. Kolhi was in devastating form as he smashed all the Sri Lankan bowlers to every quarter of the ground in one of the most memorable ODI innings.

Sri Lanka can still qualify for the 3 match finals with Australia if they beat Australia in Melbourne on Friday.
